![]() ![]() than simply setting all changes to occur at JP. Unfortunately no time frame was given, but with any luck will be in. If you are referring to ToAU missions, the Japanese Midnight waits will be removed at some point. Nobody is going to be convinced either way on this. I thought the modern FFXI was supposed to have been rid of this asinine roadblock. If that’s enough for you, that’s all you need. We clearly thought he was ethically compromised ages ago. Any "advantage" he had in that short period is certainly exhausted by how long it took Nas to get even close to it being useful. As it is, it's been known for over a year that he's going to eventually implement it. If he had implemented ToAU shortly after, and it was clear some folks had an advantage from their mining then I could be more sympathetic. choosing to be a tester means that you forgo some things (such as mining in Zhayolm). (Paraphrase.) Not against the rules, just shitty. He was out farming before Nas announced anything, and was forgoing helping at all on testing, due to being “busy” on Nasomi. (Paraphrase.) Not against the rules, just a shitty thing to do. It wouldnt matter if current players have the items, if the new system works, is killable, and most importantly, fun. ironic from a good population of those that intend to do so. Id gladly trade all my ToAU gear for a fully working ToAU set of content, however for a lot of people, aquiring these items has involved lots of time and gil, I think itd be harsh to force such a grand wipe upon everyone. I just think complaining that someone else took advantage of something they knew would become harder at a later date, or preparing for something that was always a stated goal of the server. Preparing for something that Nas has publicly said was coming for a year+ now is against the rules? The OP and his group was invited to be apart of the process and proceeded to not participate thus being removed from the discord once caught mining the ore to pre-prepare for the inevitable day this content would be fully coded. I have been apart of the testing process since the beginning and I have not spent 1 second mining in Mt.Zhaylom or trying to acquire the ore in advance knowing this content was being developed a year ago. Some are in place that I probably would vote to keep the same.I will be asking hardcore for imperial wootz ingot and khroma ore purges before salvage ever releases. ![]() I think the majority do need to go, or lowered. So, I don't think all wait timers should be removed. I think 1-3 days is appropriate, the goblins are building a master weapon supposedly even tho abyssea ruined that logic (and how filthy rich are they. On AF waits, I think it's time to just let people get their crap and move on. ![]() I vote to remove RL day waits from missions all together, as I don't really care if someone who slacked off doing missions suddenly passed me when something they wanted came out. Players just starting the game are having a great time doing missions then suddenly they can't do anything for a whole day. That might of been fine when missions came out (still idk) but they just leave them there. A RL day is basically a month in vana'diel, and really how often do you have to wait a month for something to happen in the story? Not very much at all, it is over used because they didn't want players who didn't do their missions to suddenly catch up to the players who did it beforehand. I think they use game day wait too much though, as is RL day. ![]() In the case that you "need to wait until tomorrow" for certain events to take place in the story line, I think a game day wait is acceptable since you can plan what your doing out and finish up a few minutes before the day changes. RL day should be the wait that is in place for weekly waits and conquest waits. I think there needs to be a standard of two: I would like to play the game, not wait to play the game later.I would have to disagree with every single one. ![]()
